An Assessor is charged by Missouri statute to determine the actual cash value or fair market value of your real and personal property on January 1st of the assessment year.
But for a community to thrive, it must be built on a foundation of fairness and trust.
For too long, the Assessor’s office has operated as a "black box" -unpredictable, inconsistent, and disconnected from the reality of the real estate market and economic headwinds. And when the "black box" gets challenged, the lawyers come out.
